FUNCTION / SERVICING:

This unit was thoroughly tested / played and lovingly serviced over a long period of time to make sure you get a reliable instrument that's working and sounding great.  :)  Here's the noteworthy stuff that was done to it:

-The power supply was recapped and recalibrated.

-All matrix switches were removed and cleaned.

-The keyboard was completely refurbished - we removed all the keys, cleaned things up, removed the old bushings and replaced them with new ones so the keyboard feels like new.  The key contacts were cleaned so you shouldn't experience any retriggers or pitch spasms.

-When we got this unit, the 2 wooden pieces normally present underneath the synth section which hold it in place when it sits on top of the keyboard were missing, so we made new pieces and installed them in the previous screw holes.

-The oscillators were recalibrated and the keyboard CVs were adjusted.

-ARP 2500s use backlit switches with white square caps on top of them.  The base of these caps frequently break resulting in caps that don't stay in place.  It's rare to find a 2500 with all these intact.  We replaced several broken caps with plain white caps from our other 2500 modules.

This particular ARP 2500 is no longer available, but we have another we may decide to part with.
