CRUMAR ORCHESTRATOR FOR SALE
Vintage
Polyphonic
Analog Synth
GENERAL INFO:
Polyphonically play analog brass, piano, clavichord, cello, violin and bass
sounds using this hip vintage keyboard from the 70s. This keyboard offers
split capability - you can play 1 sound or a combination of sounds on the lower
1/2 and another on the upper 1/2 of the keyboard. We love the
string and brass sounds this thing makes. You probably will too...
CONDITION:
Our items are as described, which means no typical
surprise post-sale repair bills or serious flaws typical of most vintage gear
deals!
This unit is working well and looks good. It has an interesting modification to do quartertones for middle-eastern
music - it's probably a 1 of a kind. You may or many not care - either way, you don't have to use it - it functions just fine when all the added switches are to the left. Some of the tolex is peeled off and a bit "chewed" along the bottom edge and
there's some tape holding it in place on the bottom of the left side. We didn't have the time to do it, but tolex can usually be glued back pretty easily and the spots where the tolex was torn can be colored in with black marker or paint and look fine.
The pitch / tuning fader was replaced with a more stable rotary pot and
switch. Brass filter pedal is included though we didn't test it (it's a simple item so suspect it works fine).
Don’t let our overly critical
descriptions discourage you, check out the detailed photos above!
