GENERAL INFO: 

This rare little synth has a great set of features which set it apart from most other monosynths.  It's got 2 oscillators, with 2 ring modulator modes, pitched noise, a chorus waveform, a great sounding traveller (Korgese for separate high pass and low pass filters), etc.  One of the most famous 770 users is perhaps Human League, who used this model heavily in their early work.  We love ours for its unique sound - we've had most analog synths and this one's a keeper.

DETAILS:

Our items are as described, which means no typical surprise post-sale repair bills or serious flaws typical of most vintage gear deals! 

This units in good shape for a used item of its type and age. It seems like the top of this unit may have been repainted at some point as it seems blacker than the front panel, but it looks fine. The metal piece which normally sits around the edge of the VCO2 range knob is missing. The fader knobs for the lowpass and highpass filter cutoff frequency have been replaced with soft black rubber caps. A metal insert is missing from the portamento switch. The wooden veneer on the wood panel to the right of the keyboard is chipped. There are some minor imperfections (scratches, age spots, etc) elsewhere but nothing major. This Korg-770 definitely looks used, but it works well. We actually didn't even need to service it when we got it, which is quite rare these days. Seems to be missing the small metal plate with jack labels that fits around the 1/4" jacks on the back.  Most sellers wouldn't mention each and every detail like the we do, but we like to make even the most critical customers happy.  The din connectors and audio in we not tested, but all other features were tested and performed well. 

This Korg 770 works and sounds great and should make most people looking for a used Korg 770 happy.
