GENERAL INFO: 

This is a great sounding polyphonic analog synth keyboard. It's one of our favorite sounding synths. It's got memory for you to store your sounds, lots of knobs, a built in arpeggiator and a unique sounding effects section with chorus/phaser/ensemble effects. The sound is extremely warm, thanks to this effects section and the SSM chips inside. The unison and 1 finger chord sections are great as well. We think it sounds a lot warmer and interesting than a lot of other popular vintage synths, particularly the Roland Juno-106 which is similar in some ways but offers fewer features.


CONDITION:

 Our items are as described, which means no typical surprise post-sale repair bills or serious flaws typical of most vintage gear deals! 

UPDATE: Since listing this item we decided to add a MIDI retrofit to it.  This should make it much more useful to many of our customers.  This Polysix is in very nice shape for a used item of its type and age.  It was recently serviced and all features are working well and it sounds great.  We replaced the battery with a new, removable coin type so if it ever dies for you it's a simple matter to swap it with a new one.  We reloaded what we think are the original factory sounds (as they came off a Korg factory tape).  The VCF, arpeggiator and chord memory jacks weren't tested but we see no reason for them not to work.  ALL other features were thoroughly tested and are working great.  

There are a few minor scratches and other imperfections not worth mentioning in detail. The very edges of the wood laminate on the sides have peeled up just a bit in a few places this is very minor and typical (we've seen a lot worse). The photos show a space or 2 between the keys, but they can be moved somewhat - this is normal / there's nothing wrong with this unit. It's definitely in very nice shape for a p6 - it should make most people looking for a used Poly-six VERY happy.
