GENERAL INFO: 

Don't be fooled by this cheesy looking old thing.  Sure it's known as a preset synth - not the most flexible synth in the world - you cant make sounds up from scratch, but it does have filter controls (and a great filter) and also has aftertouch, which most analog monosynths lack.  The results - in the hands of someone who can really play - can be very impressive.  We think of this as a good solo synth, along the lines of the ARP Soloist and Korg Micropreset, only better. 

Famous users include: 808 State, Blondie, Human League, Jethro Tull and others!  


CONDITION:

 Our items are as described, which means no typical surprise post-sale repair bills or serious flaws typical of most vintage gear deals! 

This SH-2000 is in great shape for a used item of its type and age.  Its key contacts were cleaned so you shouldn't experience any key retriggering or crazy pitch spasms.  Cosmetics are great.  There are a few very minor chips in the wood and a few very minor imperfections elsewhere. There's what appears to be a small cigarette burn in 1 of the tabs below the keyboard, but this instrument is very clean and seems to have otherwise been kept pretty far away from cigarette or other smokes.  If it wasn’t for these minor issues this unit would be mint - it's really in exceptional condition!  Works great, sounds great, sure to make anyone looking for a used SH2000 very happy! :)
