GENERAL INFO: 

This is quite a powerful analog synth.  It's actually two classic Minikorgs in one keyboard.  The strengths of this unit are the dual filters, allowing lowpass, highpass and bandpass filtering, ring modulation, and, of course, a warm classic analog synth sound.  This is one of my favorite synths for leads, but it's capable of making a very wide range of sounds.  


CONDITION:

 Our items are as described, which means no typical surprise post-sale repair bills or serious flaws typical of most vintage gear deals! 

This synth was lovingly serviced and thoroughly tested and is in great working condition.  Overall, cosmetics are very nice as well.  There's a screw missing from each of the wooden end sides and the sides are somewhat worn and scratched.  The wood, especially the veneer of the bottom of the right side, is chipped.  This has been the case with most of the Maxikorgs we've seen.  If this is a deal-breaker for you, we may be able to put you in touch with someone who'd be willing to make new wooden pieces for you after your purchase.  The original filter cutoff fader knobs have been replaced with new ones of a different type.  The tiny colorful inserts from 1 of the switches and 1 of the fader knobs are missing. There's a little wear in the fonts around the volume faders.  Otherwise, this units in really nice shape.  See the photos.  This Maxi should make anyone looking for a used K3 very happy.   It works great and sounds great!  We'll miss it.
