GENERAL INFO: 

The Oberheim Matrix-1000 / 6 / 6r is an excellent analog synthesizer capable of creating a wide variety of interesting warm analog sound.  Unfortunately, the interface on the 6 and 6r is somewhat lacking since there are no knobs for data entry, and the 1000 sounds can only be edited via MIDI.  If you're frustrated by the lack of knobs on your Oberheim Matrix1000, Matrix6R or Matrix6, this box is for you.  This cute little box gives you knobs so you can quickly and easily edit your Matrix sounds.   It turns these Matrix synths into much more productive tools.  This is the only one we've ever seen so it must be quite rare.  


CONDITION:

 Our items are as described, which means no typical surprise post-sale repair bills or serious flaws typical of most vintage gear deals! 

This unit is in just about perfect condition (!!!) and is in its original box.   It's been tested with a Matrix-1000 and is working well, though we didn't test the 2nd functions of each knob because we weren't sure how to access those parameters. Requires a 9v DC adapter with positive tip, not included (these are simple to find and cheap - we can buy one for you if necessary).
