GENERAL INFO: 

The Korg MS20 is possibly THE coolest monosynth but also has patchpoints like youd find on a modular synth - for great added flexibility in sound creation and communication with other electronic musical equipment, old and new. Its EXTERNAL SIGNAL PROCESSOR allows you to process external signals through it in a way which most similar synthesizers dont allow and also lets you PLAY the MS20 from other audio signals / instruments - voice, guitar, etc! This section includes a frequency to voltage converter, envelope follower and other features which are usually found only on modular systems. It's also possible to cross patch this with other old synthesizers to create hybrid sounds.The MS20 has a nice raw and nasty sound to it - nothing else sounds like it, thanks to its TWO FILTERS - high pass resonant and low pass resonant - which make this thing really SCREAM. It can sound similar to Moog and ARP but definitely has a distinctive tone of its own - we consider this the rock and roll lead synth mainly because we can get very nice distorted sounds out of it which remind us of distorted lead guitar. This synth is perfect for all techno genres, rock, industrial, house music and other styles. There are very good reasons this synth is a favorite of many, including Vince Clarke, Aphex Twin, Air, Autechre, William Orbit, Youth and many, many other influential musicians from 1978 to 2001! Great for wet synth basses, ripping leads and weird noises!

 Our items are as described, which means no typical surprise post-sale repair bills or serious flaws typical of most vintage gear deals! 

This MS20 is in very nice shape for a used item of its type and age. It's been cleaned up inside and out and serviced. It's been thoroughly tested, burned in and retested over a long period of time and appears to be working exactly as it should. The person we got this MS20 from swore it was in mint condition but he, like most sellers, overrated it.  We don't play that game.  There are some scratches and imperfections but overall things look really nice - check out the detailed photos above!
